Datuk Dr. Abdul Kadir Rosline is a university alumnus and lecturer in the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies. His contributions to the university include the critical areas of administrative, academic and human capital development. His vast experience in university governance comes from holding past managerial positions in the university including as Deputy Campus Director (Research and Industrial Linkages), Deputy Campus Director of Student Affairs, Programme Coordinator of the Diploma in Public Administration, and Executive Officer where he first started his career in the university way back in 1988. In recognition of his expertise, Datuk Dr. Abdul Kadir was appointed as one of the National Education Panel Reviewers that serves as think-tank to the government on national education policy. In terms of academic achievements, Datuk Dr. Abdul Kadir Rosline holds a PhD in Public Management HRM, from Cardiff University, Wales (UK) and Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology from Cardiff Business School (CARBS). He received his Master of Business Administration (Business & Economics) from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia, Bachelor’s Degree of Human Resources Management (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) Shah Alam and Diploma in Public Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) Sabah. Datuk Dr. Abdul Kadir’s academic areas of expertise are Organisational Studies, Public Management (HRM), Organisational Learning, Workplace Learning and Industrial Relations. Currently, he is involved in postgraduate PhD & Master’s programme supervision. With regard to professional affiliations, Datuk Dr. Abdul Kadir is a member of prestigious bodies such as the European Group for Organisational Studies (EGOS), Knowledge Management Association of Malaysia (KMAM) and Malaysia Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM).
