The International KUUB Convention 2025, scheduled to take place from 8th to 12th September 2025 in Sabah, Malaysia, is a premier regional initiative jointly organised by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sabah Branch and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), in collaboration with various government agencies, industry partners, and higher education institutions from across the Borneo region.

This convention is the flagship annual event of the Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB)—a regional higher education consortium comprising member universities from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam.

The formation of KUUB reflects a concerted initiative to enhance commitment and strategic collaboration among public and government-owned universities in Borneo, with the goal of supporting excellence, capacity building, and internationalisation across teaching and learning, research and innovation, student mobility, and graduate employability.
